Liberator III ITJCS - TACP/JTAC Secure Dual-Comm Tactical Headset with Integrated Digital Hearing Protection (L3_ITJCS1.3B)
Current TCI Deal: Starting at $1,350.00
Secure Dual-Comm Tactical Headset Designed for TACP, JTAC, Combat Control, CCT, PJ and CAS Operators: More modular and expandable than any other dual-comm system.
The Liberator III™ dual communication tactical headset series utilizes the exceptional performance capabilities of the Liberator II™ headset system, but differs by being able of providing outstanding dual communication when using two or more radios. Customers truly appreciate that each Liberator III™ headset comes with a single headset cable, instead of two separate cables, and a single PTT enclosure with two color-coded PTT buttons, versus having to use two separate PTT’s. The intent is to reduce the need for additional cables, make the system easier to use and provide the users with a single PTT enclosure to control their radios.
The Liberator III™ series consists of three primarily variations, that are commonly referred to as Liberator III™ ITJCS, Liberator III™ Basic and Liberator III™ Lite. Each variation offers unique characteristics, capabilities and benefits and a vast array of customizations are available through TCI upon request. Of the three primary Liberator III™ variations, Liberator III™ Lite is most common with law enforcement and private security contractors and the ITJCS configuration is the most sought after and most commonly fielded for military and defense customers.
The Liberator III™ Integrated TACP/JTAC Communications Suite (ITJCS) is a modular and highly-flexible “Multi-Comm” communication package allowing deployment of multiple radios. The ITJCS also enables an operator to rapidly transition between additional radios using the convenient interface transition feature. Liberator III™ ITJCS was engineered by TCI with direct input from members of the U.S. Air Force TACP, JTAC, Special Forces and Special Operations communities. The system was designed and engineered exclusively by Tactical Command Industries, Inc. based upon current and emerging capability requirements associated with software defined digital radios and modern force multiplication practices. Liberator III™ ITJCS provides optimal situational awareness for the operator by digitally replicating environmental sound, including the position, amplitude and heading of the source of the sound with Digital Situational Awareness Enhancement (D.S.A.E.) technology. This provides a unique means of threat detection and acoustical identification that is simply not possible with analog systems. Liberator III™ ITJCS includes battle-proven and industry-leading TCI Liberator III digital electronic hearing protection supporting true “Multi-Comm” capabilities.
The Liberator III™ tactical headset provides the most realistic and accurate replication of ambient sound and state of the art digital threat compression technology (D.T.C.T.) to amplify low-level ambient sounds and compress hazardous sounds levels to approximately 82 dB. With 360 degrees of auditory situational awareness support, the performance and capabilities of the Liberator III™ tactical headset surpasses many hearing protection products, which tend to clip, gate or distort the user’s perception of threat position, proximity and distance.
Another enhancement offered by TCI is the development of a highly effective radio frequency (RF) and electromagnetic (EM) shielding, another aspect unique to this TCI product. In addition to improving acoustical performance, TCI’s shielding eliminates potential crosstalk, which could lead to inadvertent retransmission of secure data/voice over a non-secure radio.
The Liberator III™ Basic version was created to provide customers with a scaled-down version of the ITJCS, but with the ability to extend the cable options of the system as needed. In fact, it offers many of the same features of the ITJCS, including the integrated Cobra microphone and lip light, but eliminates some of the interface cables giving the operator a less costly option. The Liberator III™ Basic can easily be upgraded with any of the desired cables from the ITJCS at any time and with no modification of the system whatsoever.
The Liberator III™ Lite version was created based upon law enforcement, private security contractor and ground radio transmission officer (RTO) requirements. It can be fielded less expensively that the ITJCS or Basic variation and gives the operator a less modular dual communications system at a competitive price. With many of the same features and benefits of the ITJCS, the dual push-to-talk assembly is equipped with hardwired 17” coiled cables giving maximum flexibility to the user. Refer to the included illustrations to view the included cables and capabilities for the Liberator IIITM ITJCS, Basic and Lite communication suites.

TCI Team, I am a USAF JTAC currently serving in Afghanistan and wanted to give you quick feedback. I have the Liberator-III ITJCS and it has been performing perfectly thus far on many operations. All of the accessories have proved essential for me in various mounted and air assault missions as well. I am absolutely impressed! ... I prefer never to use any other headset system but yours! BEST TO DATE.

Dear Don ,
I don't know if you remember me. But I was the one who bought
4 M.A.S.T. systems and the Liberator III headset, and the VIC PTT for my headset.
I just wanted to say how freaking amazed at how awesome the headset is. I can be in the back of my MRAP and still hear my driver or gunner over the headset without the VIC cable on or plugged in. I am totally amazed at this. Then once the DUKE goes on, the noise canceling kicks in. Perfect. My TC will sit there and complain of the Duke "whine", Then i say (while up in the turret.) "I can't hear it."
Then, once I do plug in my VIC cable. I can hear everyone clear as a bell. Two guys in my truck are very jealous of this cable.
Since I never have to take off my headset or helmet. (Just unplug and re-plug in to my PTT).
When dismounted. I have two radios on me, one to the air, one to the ground. The PTT is the best thing ever the colors are perfect.
Red is for fire/ aircraft, and black is for dismounts. I love the velcro on the back connects directly to my name tape stripe, and only disconnects when I take off my seat belt.
The M.A.S.T. system is most likely the best part. I am not just saying that because it looks cool, but because me and my TC were over a click away. Every one could hear us, and we could hear them.
Mind you this is on an MBITR. We do not use whip antennas. Some guys can be standing next to each other, and not hear each other.
If its any consolation. I will always use TCI for all my military commo needs. No-one else will ever do. My TC uses a Peltor headset, brand new. It got a lil wet in a short rain. Now the PTT doesn't work. So my buddy hooked him up with a TCI PTT for his headset. He will never go back. Gotta love that. Oh and the TCI PTT got soaked on a mission and still works great! Go figure.
Thanks again for your awesome products and have a great day.

FAST Helmet Attachment

Thanks for letting me test your FAST helmet attachment kit. It worked great and was exactly what I needed. My BTH Lib III is awesome by itself, but attaching it to my helmet with your conversion kit is way better than what the other people tried to do with a rail mount. I need to use my ARC rails for other things plus your kit allows me to use the headset without the helmet. Let me know when you guys start selling it so I can tell my bros.

I ordered your JTAC/Liberator III comm suite a few months back for Afghanistan. I spoke to the (TCI) owner on the phone and we talked for about 45 mins about FAC/JTAC tactical needs, etc. Awesome dude, awesome company. I spoke to my CO and got him onboard with TCI. I believe he ordered a bunch of MAST kits and JTAC suites as well with Op-funds....sweet.
