TCI Special Forces Liberator II Tactical Headset with Integrated Digital Hearing Protection (with TCI Tactical PTT)
Out of Stock
TCI’s Liberator II™ tactical headset provides an exceptional convergence of communications and hearing protection and was designed to military durability standards and offers low-profile ear-cups for compatibility with various tactical helmets, state of the art digital sound processing for optimal reproduction of environmental sounds and leading radio frequency (RF) shielding. Patented Digital Threat Compression Technology (DTCT) safely reduces hazardous ambient sounds while simultaneously providing the user with continuous situational awareness. These progressive attributes, as well as an array of others, enable the Liberator II™ tactical headset to be worn comfortably under MICH, ACH, PASGT, Ops-Core™, and other ballistic helmets and provide the performance that supports operator safety and mission completion. Our robust design includes an industry-leading, dual-layer waterproofing process for phenomenal protection of electronic components and vastly increases the lifespan of the equipment.
The electronic hearing protection system offers the most advanced technology available... While less progressive systems “clip” or “cut-off” ambient sounds, the Liberator II ™ also features Digital Threat Compression Technology (D.T.C.T) which reduces specific harmful sounds, while allowing the user to hear safe, low-level sounds while protection is engaged.
Liberator II™ tactical headsets provide exceptional communications, electronic hearing protection and TCI’s Digital Situational Awareness Enhancement (D.S.A.E.) during demanding situations. The ability to maintain peripheral hearing and amplify potential danger signs and audio cues from the environment are vital for any tactical mission. Equally important is the threat localization system that the headset provides. Our D.S.A.E. technology provides 360 degrees ambient sound reproduction and unbelievable situational awareness. This technology is the most accurate method of environmental sound replication, threat identification and closely replicates natural hearing.
Specifically, dual external microphones continually process ambient sounds and instantaneously provide NNR 21 (up to 29 dB) of hearing protection to protect the user from exposure to harmful static-state and impulse sounds and a battery life of 600 hours using two conventional AAA batteries.
The Liberator II™ has two different suspension systems available, the traditional Over the Head suspension (OTH) and the Behind the Head suspension (BTH). The Liberator II™ - BTH was designed to provide enhanced comfort under ballistics helmets, including various conventional and “high cut” helmet systems. The BTH suspension system is highly adjustable and provides excellent stability during vigorous activities. If your unit or agency uses or intends to use ballistic helmets, we recommend you select Behind the Head suspension (BTH) option.

Confidence from Experience

Don, we couldn't be more pleased with the order. I tested all headsets & PTT's in every possible configuration, with Power, without power, TX & RX, Analog & Digital. Your quality control must be quite good. Everything was perfect. The ambient noise amplification is far superior to what is standard that's for sure and the TX & RX Audio is the best I've ever heard on either end.
We always knew that you guys had a superior product, but now we can say that with confidence from experience.

We used it on the Third warrant this morning and the sergeant loves it, says it is 10 times better than the others we have.

During the last SWAT training, I was provided with the Liberator head set and was very pleased with the product. The Liberator was comfortable and I found the acoustics in the set very superior. I was able to speak and hear clearly and was also able to use the head set as ear protection while I was shooting multiple rounds down range. I would recommend this product to any tactical team or any department who wanted to utilize a great comfortable head set. Thank you for your product.
Liberator II Gets High Marks

I had the opportunity to T&E the LIBERATOR II awhile assigned to rural interdiction operations with a local drug interdiction task force. What I first noticed and was pleased with was the velco adjustable head strap. Once I had the unit on my head, comfortably fitting my Kevlar helmet over top was easy and remarkably comfortable. With other market comparable items there are uncomfortable steel wires which press into your head when coupled with a level IIIA helmet.
The LIBERATOR seemed a matched pair from the outset when I attached it to my department issued Motorola XTS radio. Fit was flawless and secure. The PTT was easily mounted on my tactical armor where it was both accessible and yet allowed easy access to the other items on my vest. The construction and materials used gave the impression of longevity and performance over the long haul. During the 40 week I used the headset I had no issues with the LIBERATOR’s construction or performance ever waning.
The ON/OFF button and volume rockers were tactile and easily found when reached for. I was very impressed when I turned on the unit for the first time and realized just how much ambient noise if could amplify and the quality to which it did. One of the fears when operating a headphone cup is there will be some noise not transmitted or that your sense of hearing in a tactical environment will be diminished. I did not have that problem with the LIBERATOR. At times I felt a marked advantage over other operators who did not have the same capability the LIBERATOR provided me. Connectivity between the headset and my radio was flawless and I didn’t experience any annoying white noise. My transmissions were clear and readable thanks to the flexible boom mike.
I give the LIBERATOR II high marks and very much appreciate the opportunity to test it out as a possible tactical communications solution to my departments Special Response Team.
